Join Lindsey Hanna Design for an immersive sourcing retreat in Round Top this October: Wednesday the 28th to Friday the 30th.

 

Stay for a day, a night or two...  Our team will be your hosts and guides through the tents of Marburger Farms and beyond. 

​

Overnight guests will join us at the Oakbones: A design-led Texas retreat built for meaningful gathering. Tucked into the landscape of Round Top, Oakbones brings together hospitality, architecture, wellness, and community in a setting that feels both elevated and relaxed.

​

Thursday night, we will mosey over to Zapp Hall in Warrenton for the ROUND TOP PROM! This year's theme is Practical Magic! More details to come...

 

Shop, learn about vintage and antique goods, share meals and stories, unwind, and connect as we collect items for your home.

 

You won't regret two-stepping your way out of your regular routine and out to Round Top with LHD.

-Personalized shopping list for existing LHD clients on October 28th or 29th. LHD team will head back to Austin after lunch on October 30th)

-Accommodations at Oakbones Retreat. Guests will share a cabin- all bedrooms have ensuite baths. LHD team will be in another cabin on the property.

-Wine & Drinks at the Oakbones around the firepit or on the porch

-Breakfast Goodies

FAQs

Can my spouse join in the fun? 

Absolutely! We love when couples shop together! Couples may book a Queen Suite for an overnight. Please note the three bedroom cabin will be shared by all guests. All baths are en-suite. Overnight guests in our shared rooms must be female. Day Tripper couples pay just the single day rate.

What should I pack and what should I wear?

Check the weather before you depart and pack for varied weather conditions. Round Top's weather can ben unpredictable- sunny one day and cool and rainy the next. Round Top is all about the cowgirl, southwestern, prairie chic. Pack comfortable shoes or boots and a brimmed hat- or plan to buy one! We will provide you with a shopping tote for small purchases.  Overnight guests should plan to bring toiletries, medicines, a water bottle, and snacks. A robe or light jacket for chilly mornings is recommended.

 

If you are staying Thursday night, bring a costume or dress for the ROUND TOP PROM at Zapp Hall. The theme is PRACTICAL MAGIC- and we will be dressing in our witchy best.

Tell me about the Oakbones Retreat?

The Oakbones is a new cabin style retreat near the Round Top Square. It has good reviews- it's quaint, comfortable, and easy access to all shopping. There is a pool and hot tub and room to wander around the acreage. Guests should know that parts of the resort are still under development. The LHD team will stay in one cabin and guests in another.

What shopping venues will we visit? 

We will focus on Marburger Farms Antique Show on Wednesday. Wednesday is typically a slower day and vendors are more open to offers. We could spend the full day at Marburger, or decide to mosey over to the Horseshoe, Compound, or Excess Fields. We also love a Bader Ranch Visit. On the Thursday we will visit Blue Hills,, Market Hill, the Halles, Arbors, and more. Friday morning we will direct guests to any locations we feel aligns with their goals- and we will coordinate the pickup and logistics for any items purchased.

What can I expect to buy and how will I get it home?

In years past, clients have found everything from glassware to living room sofas. We will provide you with a personalized shopping list for your home, with specific dimensions or parameters in mind. We will help you work with the dealers to get information and pricing. From fine antiques to one of a kind artwork, Round Top will not disappoint. Our team will work with transport companies on site to help arrange delivery to your home or our receiving company. We also save a little room in the van for smaller client purchases. Many clients go home with a cute bolero or cowboy hat- true Round Top Souvenirs!

How will I get from venue to venue?

Day guests should expect to drive their own vehicle between spots. We will gauge the group to determine when to move on. Overnight guests may opt to drive themselves, or ride with the LHD team. 

​

What about food & drink options? 

All guests who join us on Wednesday the 28th will be invited to an epic LHD picnic lunch at Marburger Farms. Any allergies or preferences will be considered as we determine the shopping list.

Drinks and snacks are available at most venues, at the guests expense.  Overnight guests will be treated to dinner and drinks, either at the Oakbones retreat or at a restaurant TBD. The menu & location will be communicated ahead of time.  Breakfast goodies and beverages will be available in the Cabin. Guests should bring any additional snacks or drinks they like. Bring a water bottle! It can be dry and dusty out there!

Can I bring my pet... or my children?

We love our pups but, no pets please. Day Trippers may bring their children if they like. (Although it's easier to shop without small assistants...) Children are not permitted for overnight guests.

What happens if I cannot make it?

Day TripperTickets & Overnight Reservations are non-refundable, BUT the LHD team will focus on your project while we are out in the fields, and will communicate any potential good fits for your home via text and phone.and make purchases/arrange transport of them for you. We have sourced plenty of items this way over the years. 

​

Can I just stay for one night?

Yes- shared rooms and/or private rooms are available for just one night. Please indicate which night you'd like to reserve.
